As a native of Iowa, Rachel has called Boone home since 2006. Rachel began her medical career in 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand View University. In 2006 she earned her masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill specializing in Family Practice and Women’s Health. Rachel has been employed with AppHealth since her graduation in 2006. As a provider, she has enjoyed being able to establish a relationship with many of her patients over the years. Rachel and her husband Robbie have three children. In her time away from work, Rachel enjoys being with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, golfing, and cooking.
