Caitlin grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to North Carolina to attend Guilford College. After spending two years living and working in rural Japan, she moved to Boone, NC to attend Appalachian State University. Caitlin completed the Clinical Mental Health Program with a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2014. Caitlin’s treatment approach is rooted in a variety of evidence based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and IFS; additionally incorporating sand tray therapy and expressive arts with clients. Working with adolescents and their families, Caitlin is passionate about supporting teens during their pivotal time of self-discovery. Caitlin enjoys reading on her back deck, finding gems at the thrift store and walking her dog with her husband and son.
