Emily is a lifetime native of Ashe County. She received her BSN from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2010 and worked for two years as a pediatric hematology/oncology RN. She began working for AppHealthCare in 2012 as a public health nurse. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in August of 2021 with her MSN-FNP and then transitioned to a provider role with AppHealthCare. She enjoys the diversity of public health and the opportunity to serve her community and build relationships with her patients. She is happily married with three children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, hiking, and reading.
